Two layers of glass. One quiet trick.
The Zoey does not just glow. It draws. A smooth outer globe softens the light while the ribbed inner shade breaks it into fine warm stripes that travel across the wall as the evening settles. And because the light source sits behind two layers of glass, there’s no naked-bulb glare at eye level.
The making
Two layers of glass, not one.
High-street glass pendants tend to be a single thin skin of glass on a painted collar. The Zoey is built the other way around: a smooth outer sphere over a deeply ribbed inner shade, seated in a brushed brass-finish ring. Two layers, not one. It’s the detail you notice from a foot away, and the reason the light feels considered rather than bare.
Sized on purpose
Made to hang low, and in pairs.
The Zoey is meant to hang low and close, over a bedside, a worktop, or two and three in a row above an island. It comes in three shade sizes: Ø 15 cm for tight spots and runs, Ø 20 cm for a bedside or a worktop, and Ø 25 cm when you want a single pendant to hold a larger room on its own. For a solid shade rather than glass, the Modern Iron Dome Pendant comes in eight finishes; for a bar over a long table, the Thala Linear LED Pendant. - Turn the power off at the consumer unit and test the wires are dead
- Fix the ceiling bracket over your existing ceiling point
- Offer the pendant up to the bracket, then connect live and neutral as the guide shows
- Screw on the ceiling cup and fit the included bulb
Hang it low over a table or bedside, and a matching pair looks deliberate. If you are ever unsure about the wiring, ask a qualified electrician.

Will the glass look exactly like the images?
Glass is made in limited batches, so the depth of the colour can vary very slightly from one piece to the next, and it always looks a touch warmer once it’s lit. What you see in the images is honest to the piece.
Clear, amber or smoky grey, which should I choose?
Amber throws a warmer, cosier pool and reads gold when it’s off, lovely over a bedside or a dining spot. Smoky grey is cooler and quieter, and reads as soft graphite when it’s off. Clear is the crispest and shows the ribbed inner shade most openly.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
