What a ceiling light has to do
The ceiling light is the one fitting a room cannot hide. It goes on before anything else and it sets the temperature of the whole space, which is why it is worth choosing for how it looks lit as much as unlit. This range covers flush fittings that sit close to the plaster, semi-flush pieces with a little drop, and sculptural forms that read as an object in their own right.
Flush, semi-flush or sculptural
Flush fittings sit almost against the ceiling and suit landings, corridors and rooms where headroom is short. The Curved Ribbon LED Ceiling Light is a hand-bent painted aluminium band with a soft silicone diffuser. The Ivera Ultra-Thin LED Ceiling Light is an iron-framed capsule with an acrylic diffuser, made in five lengths from 40 to 120 centimetres, so it can follow a hallway or sit alone over a landing.
Semi-flush pieces drop a few centimetres and give a room more presence. The Antique Brass Semi-Flush pairs a pressed glass shade with a brass lampholder and ceiling plate. For something closer to sculpture, the Nordic Sputnik 6-Light opens iron arms in a plated finish across 83 centimetres.
Sizes and finishes
The range runs from the Quasso Flush Ceiling Light, which comes in two sizes and two finishes, to pieces measured in length rather than diameter. Every product page lists its dimensions in centimetres, with a measured diagram in the gallery, so you can check the space before you order rather than after the box arrives. Each piece replaces an existing ceiling fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring to run.
If your ceiling is low
