One of a kind
No two are ever the same.
Travertine is a porous stone, full of fine hollows the light finds its way through. Switched on, the shade turns from pale yellow stone to a warm mineral glow, and the pattern it throws is the stone’s own veining. Some pieces even carry faint fossil marks. Yours won’t be identical to this image, and that is exactly the point.
Real stone, held close
Sized on purpose.
Composite shades look right in an image and disappoint in the hand. This one is cut from real travertine, visibly and texturally, under a turned wood sphere. Choose it at 15, 20 or 30 cm across: the 15 cm is deliberately intimate over a bedside, the widest holds its own over an island. Lovely on its own and lovelier in a pair.
Fitted in an afternoon
Hangs where your old light did.
It replaces an existing ceiling point. The ceiling rose covers the fitting and the flex trims to length, up to 200 cm. It has a real weight to it, the honest heft of stone, and hangs from a standard ceiling point like any pendant. Adding a light where there is no point already is the one job worth an electrician. - Turn the power off at the consumer unit.
- Connect to your existing ceiling point, live to live, neutral to neutral.
- Trim the flex to length, fit the rose, and you are done.

Is the stone real, and will mine look like the images?
Real. The shade is cut from natural travertine, so tone and veining vary naturally from piece to piece, and some carry faint fossil marks. Yours won’t be identical to the image, and that is the point of a natural stone.
Is it heavy? Will it hold on the ceiling?
It weighs between 1.35 and 1.85 kg depending on the size and hangs from a standard ceiling point, the same as any pendant.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
When will it arrive?
