The material
A curve with a little movement.
The shade rises on one side and curls in on the other, so its outline changes as you move around the room. Fine crossing strips keep the shape open rather than solid. Against painted cupboards, a timber table or a plain wall, that woven detail gives the space something less straight-lined to look at.
After dark
Let the weave into the evening.
With a warm bulb fitted, light travels through the gaps in the weave as well as the lower opening. Over a small table or in a sitting-room corner, it adds an inviting layer after the main lights go down.
Fitting it
Give the curve its place.
The 120 cm black flex adjusts at fitting. Check the 38 cm shade and the space beneath it before setting the drop above your furniture. Is a bulb included?
No. Senra is supplied without a bulb.
Will the weave cast a pattern?
The open weave allows light through the gaps between the strands. The effect depends on the bulb and the nearby walls and ceiling, so the pattern will not be identical in every room. The photographs illustrate the pendant with warm light.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
