Colourful Nordic Up & Down Wall Light
Up-and-down light in cheerful Nordic colourways — small lamp, real character.
One fitting, two directions: a pair of dome-capped enamel cylinders throw a warm glow up the wall and down it at once, with a soft opal globe at each end. By day it reads as a small piece of colour on the wall; by evening it's the light that makes the corner.
Will it fit? It's deliberately compact — H 25.5 cm on a Ø 12 cm backplate — sized for beside a bed, either side of artwork, or anywhere a wall feels bare. Most rooms want the pair.
Fitting it. It mounts to an existing wall point, using the wires already there — no new wiring, no trailing cable. Both E27 globe bulbs are included, in the right warmth.

Seven colourways
Pick a colour for the room. A pair for the wall.
The colour is glossy enamel fired into the steel, not sprayed on top, so it stays true and reads exactly like the photos when it arrives. Choose a warm red or pink for a bedside, a soft green or cream for a living room, black and white for a hallway that stays quiet. One lifts a flat corner. A matching pair, one either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace, gives you the symmetry a room like that wants. Set the quantity to two for the pair.

After dark
One light, two directions.
The upper shade washes light up the wall; the lower one pools it softly beneath. Together they turn a flat wall into a warm column of glow that a single-shade light cannot manage. Low beside the bed it is a reading light. Across a living room it is the thing guests ask about. The little opal globes soften the bulbs so you get glow, never glare.

Fitting it
Onto the point you already have.
It replaces an existing wall point, so there is no new wiring to run. The round backplate takes two screws and hides the wall box, and because both bulbs are in the box it is lit the evening it goes up. It runs from your existing wall switch, so there is nothing to wire in on the lamp itself.
- Turn the power off at the consumer unit.
- Match live to live, neutral to neutral, on the existing wires.
- Screw the round backplate to the wall, two fixings.
- Fit the two E27 opal globe bulbs.
- Restore the power and switch on from the wall.
There is no switch on the fitting itself, it runs from your existing wall switch. If you are ever unsure about the wiring, a qualified electrician will have it up in minutes.

Before you buy
Questions, answered properly.
Are the bulbs included?
Yes. Both E27 opal globe bulbs come in the box, in warm white, so it is lit the evening it goes up. There is nothing else to buy, and they are a standard fitting to replace down the line.
How many colourways are there?
Seven genuine pairings across green, cream, red, pink, white and black. Pick a warm one for a bedside, a soft one for a living room, or black and white to keep a hallway quiet. The exact colourways are shown in the photos.
One light, or a pair?
Both work. One lifts a flat corner. A matching pair, one either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace, gives you symmetry. Set the quantity to two for the pair, in the same colourway.
What does up and down mean?
The top shade washes light up the wall and the lower shade pools it beneath, so a flat wall gains a soft column of glow, more layered than a single-shade light can manage.
Is there a switch on the light?
No. It runs from your existing wall switch, like any normal wall point. There is no cord or button on the fitting itself.
Will the colour match the photos?
Yes. The colour is glossy enamel fired into the steel rather than sprayed on top, so it holds true. This is one piece where what arrives really does read like the picture.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with dimmable LED bulbs on a compatible dimmer switch. Handy for a soft bedside setting in the evening. The light itself has no dimmer built in.
Do I need an electrician?
No new wiring is needed: it mounts to an existing wall point on the same wires, and the backplate covers the box. A wall light in a brand-new position is the only case that needs an electrician. If you are unsure, a qualified electrician will have it up in minutes.
What if it arrives marked, or you deliver outside the UK?
We ship within the UK with free delivery, and returns come back to a UK address, never overseas. Each light is packed carefully, but if a globe ever arrives chipped, send us a photo and we will replace it or refund it under our 30-day returns.
