The material
A softer shape for a bare wall.
The tall fabric shade tapers gently above a rounded wooden base, with a slim metal stem between them. It is a small contrast of textures: fabric that feels soft to the eye, brown wood and an antique-toned finish. Even when switched off, Elwen gives a plain wall something considered to look at. The shape sits easily beside a favourite chair or against the quieter colours of a sitting room.
After dark
Let the corner come into its own.
Once lit, the fabric shade takes on a warm glow and brings a gentler note to the wall around it. It is the kind of light that belongs beside a sofa at the end of the day, with the rest of the room still comfortably in view. Use it as part of your room's lighting, giving one corner its own atmosphere rather than asking a single wall light to do everything.

Choose the position with the shade in mind: leave it clear of curtains and allow room around the fitting. Elwen is a mains-powered wall light, so check the wall and connection before mounting.
