There is a stretch of landing you pass a dozen times a day and never really see. Set a slim brushed-metal plate on that wall and, after dark, it stops being a corridor. Quiet at noon, quietly certain by evening, the sort of thing a guest tends to pause over on the way past.

FOUR FINISHES
Quiet by day. A pair, or a run.
By daylight it reads as a small, considered detail rather than a fitting. Choose from golden, black, coffee or grey to sit with the wall you already have. One lifts a flat corner. A matching pair either side of a bed, or a run of three climbing a staircase, is where these really earn their place. Set the quantity to two, or three, in the same finish.
AFTER DARK
Two soft fans of warm light.
The warm-white LED throws light in two directions at once. One fan washes up the wall, the other pools down beneath it, so a flat stretch of hallway or a bedside turns into a soft column of glow. It is warm white, the colour a room relaxes in. Small on the wall by day. The reason a guest slows down at night.
FITTING IT
Up in an afternoon.
Because the LED is built in, there is no bulb to buy or fit. It is a wall-mounted fitting that runs from mains AC with the driver built in, and it arrives with fitting instructions. - Turn the power off at the consumer unit and check the wires are dead.
- Hold the backplate against the wall, mark the fixing holes and drill them.
- Wall-plug the holes and screw the backplate flat.
- Connect the wires as shown in the supplied instructions.
- Check it sits level, then restore the power.
It is not dimmable and gives one warm setting. If you are ever unsure about the wiring, have a qualified electrician fit it.

Is there a bulb to buy?
No. The 6 W warm-white LED is built into the light, so it is lit the moment it goes up and there is nothing to source or change down the line. If a fault develops later, it’s covered by your rights under UK consumer law.
What does up and down mean?
The LED throws light in two directions from one plate, washing up the wall and pooling down beneath, so a flat wall gains a soft column of glow.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
When will it arrive?
