The simplest idea on the wall: a slender iron arm curves up from a round backplate and holds one warm filament bulb in a metal lampholder. No shade, no fuss — just a clean line and a soft amber glow that flatters everything near it.
Will it fit? Almost anywhere a wall feels bare. It stands H 28 cm on a Ø 12 cm backplate and reaches 19 cm from the wall — slim enough for tight spots beside a mirror or a headboard, and it pairs beautifully.

The arm is a single bent line of solid iron, evenly coated and honest about what it is, so it feels heavier and better made than the price suggests. Choose the finish that answers the metals already in the room: Black & Gold or Gold to warm it, Black or Gold & Black to keep it graphic and quiet. One lifts a flat corner or a cloakroom. A matching pair, one either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace, gives a wall the symmetry it wants. Set the quantity to two for the pair, in the same finish.

The bulb is the shade.
With nothing between you and the filament, the light is all warmth: a low amber glow that flatters brick, plaster and skin alike. That also means the bulb is yours to choose, so pick a soft amber filament and the whole look is set. It is an accent light, not a main light. On beside the bed, on either side of a mirror, on while the kettle boils: it is the light for the wall you pass every evening.
FITTING IT
Onto the point you already have.
It replaces an existing wall point, so there is no new wiring to run. The round backplate takes a bracket and hides the wall box, and it runs from your existing wall switch, so there is nothing to wire in on the fitting itself. Because it reaches about 19 cm into the room, it is worth a moment’s thought on height, especially anywhere you walk past it.
- Turn the power off at the consumer unit and test the wires are dead.
- Fix the mounting bar to the wall box the right way up, following the guide, and wall-plug the backplate holes.
- Connect live to live and neutral to neutral with the connectors, then tuck the wires back.
- Screw the backplate onto the bar, sitting the arm the right way up.
- Fit your E27 filament bulb, check it sits level, then restore the power.
Because it reaches about 19 cm from the wall, hang it a touch above head height in a hallway or landing so the arm stays clear as you pass. There is no switch on the fitting; it runs from your existing wall switch. If you are ever unsure about the wiring, a qualified electrician will have it up in minutes.

Does it come with a bulb?
No, and that is deliberate: the bulb is the whole look, so you choose it. It takes any standard E27, and it screws straight in. We’d fit a soft amber filament, since with nothing between you and the filament that warm glow is the point.
Which bulb should I choose?
A warm amber E27 filament bulb, on the low side. It gives a soft, flattering glow rather than a bright, flat light, which is exactly what a bare-bulb wall light is for. A dimmable LED filament on a compatible dimmer gives you even more control.
Won’t a bare bulb be too bright to look at?
It’s an accent light rather than a main light. Paired with a low, amber filament bulb it gives a warm, flattering glow, not glare, and mounting it a touch above eye level helps too.
Which finish should I choose?
Four options: Black & Gold, Gold, Black, or Gold & Black. Gold catches the filament’s warmth; black keeps it graphic and understated. Pick to match the metals already in the room.
