Held out on fine radiating arms, the globes seem to float a little above a dining table and pull the whole room in around them. After dark each one softens to a warm, even orb. The sort of centrepiece a guest tends to slow down and look at.

The right bulb
Six E27 bulbs, your choice.
The lampholders are standard E27 screw-fit, and you choose the bulbs to suit. A warm white LED is what opal glass was made for: it fills each globe with an even, quiet light instead of leaving a bright point staring back at you.
The light

Opal glass does what a bare bulb or a clear shade never can: it turns each lamp into a globe of soft, even light, with no glare and no filament to stare at. Over dinner, the six globes hold the table in a warm circle – the light every good restaurant is quietly aiming for.
Sizing & fitting
Sized for the room it hangs in.
The 70 cm spread wants a proper stage: a dining table, a kitchen island, or a living room. It sits semi-flush, 50 cm from the ceiling to the lowest globe, on a Ø 12 cm ceiling plate. The other piece in this edit takes the opposite direction: the Rustic Antler Chandelier is sculpted resin on an iron frame. It sits in our chandeliers edit, with the rest of the range.
- Turn the power off at the consumer unit.
- Fix the mounting plate over your existing ceiling point – same wires, same hole, no new wiring.
- Connect and lift into place (a second pair of hands helps).
- Thread each opal globe on by hand – snug, never forced.
It replaces a standard flat-ceiling fitting and isn’t made for sloped ceilings. A piece this wide is a two-person lift.

Are the globes real glass?
Yes. Each shade is real frosted opal-white glass, not acrylic, on a slim iron arm. Off it reads as sculpture; lit, as six even spheres of light.
What bulbs does it take?
Six E27 bulbs, and a warm white LED suits the opal glass best.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
When will it arrive?
