THE MATERIAL
Cast with the grain left in.
The antlers are moulded in resin over an iron frame, with the grain and shading of the cast left visible, so up close they read as weathered horn rather than plastic. Much of the character of the real thing, and none of the weight above your table. People who know tend to assume it cost a good deal more than it did.
AFTER DARK
Six candles’ worth of warmth, without the wax.
Candle-style bulbs sit high among the antlers, so the light falls in overlapping pools across the table below. It is the warm, storied glow of a lodge dinner, with a switch on the wall. Not a floodlight, but the kind of light a room is remembered for.
HANGING IT
A centrepiece worth a second pair of hands.
At W 75 cm it is made to hang over a dining or living-room table, where the chain can be set so the antlers sit at eye-catching height without getting in the way. The chain adjusts across a wide range, so it settles well under a standard 2.4 m ceiling. It is a proper centrepiece with real presence, so it is worth having someone steady it while you make the connection. The other piece in this edit is quieter: the Opal Globe 6-Light Chandelier carries six frosted opal-white glass globes on an iron frame. The rest of the range is gathered in chandeliers.
- Turn the power off at the consumer unit before you start
- Set the chain to the drop you want over the table
- Connect it to your existing ceiling point, live and neutral, and cover the joint with the ceiling rose
- Fit the included E14 bulbs and restore the power
It wires into a ceiling point like any chandelier, so there is no new cabling to run. If you do not have a ceiling point where you want it, or you would rather not work at height with a heavier piece, ask an electrician.

Is it real antler?
No. The antlers are cast in a wood-effect resin over an iron frame, with the grain and shading left visible, so they read as weathered horn rather than plastic, without the weight of the real thing above your table.
How bright is it, and can I dim it?
It is made for atmosphere rather than a bright floodlight. The six candle bulbs throw warm, overlapping pools of light across a table, the glow of a lodge dinner. It dims with dimmable LED candle bulbs on a compatible dimmer switch.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It replaces an existing ceiling or wall fitting on the same wires, so there is no new wiring.
