A cylinder of faceted cut glass on a slim iron arm. Unlit, it reads as jewellery for the wall; switched on, it scatters warm light into soft prismatic patterns across plaster and ceiling — the kind of detail that makes a hallway feel finished.

The shade is a faceted crystal-effect cylinder, its angles cut to break a warm bulb into clean bands of light rather than one flat glow. It sits on a slim satin metal backplate in gold or black, the kind of Art Deco line that reads considered from across the room and jeweller-like up close. Do I need an electrician?
No new wiring is needed. It mounts to an existing wall point on the same wires, and the backplate covers the box. Only a light in a brand new position needs an electrician.
Is it real crystal or acrylic?
The faceted shade is a crystal-effect acrylic, not cut glass, cut into clean angles so it scatters a warm bulb into soft prismatic bands. It is lighter than glass, which is kinder on a wall bracket and less anxious in the post, and it gives you the Art Deco look without the price or the weight of solid crystal.
Does it come with a bulb?
It takes a standard E27 bulb, which you supply. Fit a warm white one to keep the facets glowing softly. It is an everyday fitting, easy to find and easy to replace, so there is no proprietary bulb to hunt down later.
Can I fit a pair either side of a mirror or bed?
Yes, and it is where these look their best. One finishes a bare wall; a matching pair either side of a mirror, a bed or a fireplace gives you symmetry. Set the quantity to two for the pair, and space them to match.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with a dimmable LED bulb on a compatible dimmer switch. The facets look their best turned low in the evening. The light itself has no dimmer built in.
What size is it, and which finish?

What if it arrives damaged?
Each faceted shade is packed to travel. On the rare occasion a piece arrives marked or chipped, send us a photo and we will replace it or refund it under our 30-day returns, from a UK address, with no return trip to a depot abroad.
