Does it come with a bulb?
Yes. The LED is built in and included, so there is nothing to buy, match or replace.
Is it metal or plastic?
The drum is powder-coated metal in matte black. The only acrylic is the inner diffuser, and its job is to hide the LED points so from below you read two clean circles rather than a bright dome.
Can I dim it or change the colour?
No. This piece gives one fixed warm white, on and off at the wall switch. There is no remote and no dimming.
What sort of light does it give?
A soft warm white. The LED sits between the outer drum and the inner ring, so you get a halo washing the ceiling and a warm glow beneath, the kind of light that makes a room feel finished at dusk.
Do I need an electrician to fit it?
It replaces an existing ceiling fitting on the same wires, so most people put it up themselves. If you are adding a light where there is not one already, that is a job for an electrician.
Will it suit a low or sloped ceiling?
Yes to both. It is a semi-flush at 13 cm deep, so it is comfortable under a 2.4 m ceiling, and it is compatible with sloped ceilings.
What if it arrives damaged, or the LED ever fails?
If anything is wrong on arrival, or the LED fails within your two-year guarantee, we replace the whole light, not a part. Returns are handled here in the UK.
